14 chord changes on first try I got myself a guitar in 2017 but unfortunately got no platform to learn it from and ever since i have been nagging to learn it somehow and when I finally decided to learn it, this channel showed up. I mean now or never, right? Anyways Thanks a lot for your efforts.

Funny thing i saw this video 6 months ago and gave it a try for an hour. After i totally forgot it. 10 mins ago i sumbled again on the video and after lil bit of practise i did the scale without knowing that i actually learned it. Now the thing is do not know is what to do with it. lol

Question: Started playing at 55ish been a year, thanks for your help. When plucking do you have to pluck all the strings that your fingers are supressing on a fret? Is the base string the primary that you absolutely must pluck?

I could not play anything until i was 24. Then i learned very slowly and thought I'd never learn the tricksy chords. Im 59 now and learned more in the last 5 years than the previous 30. I use the nanoo nanoo technique.

I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since 2014. Hip replacement in 2017 and a FU to RA in 2018. Could not dress myself, wash or dry my body, climb up the stairs unless I used my forearms for 2 years. I started a diary for my diet,then started exercising & lifting weights, golfing, now guitar and the F cord is a F U. Hand is struggling in this fight but Kirk Hammett riffs 2024 Oh and diagnosed with osteoarthritis 2 weeks ago. I will die with RA but I refuse to die from RA.

So I gotta swing thru and throw you a thank you I’ve known a few different ways, all to the same end result. This is the best , fastest method I have seen, I’ve been playing since my teens, I’m now 50 yo and feel I’ve finally mastered stringing a guitar Cheers and thank you

In a Word, If You are Impatient? You will never be a musician. SLOW is ur friend. You may learn to play something. But it will always be Bad, sound poor, be sloppy, etc. FAST is the GOAL, Not the PROCESS. The only way to get fast is to go slow. 40 bpm or even slower, If THAT'S what it takes. If ur Fast in a Hurry to get somewhere n have No Patience? Ur wasting ur time trying to Be a musician. Sry.

I figure that if I learn to play an instrument, I might be able to amuse him before we have to leave together. Great lesson! What brand of guitar are you using?

I put a query out on my local commumity page to see if anyone played guitar and wanted some one to practice with. 20 odd people turned up the first night at all different levels. We ended up splitting the group to beginners and intermediate advanced. We meet on 2 seperate nights. We now have 6 regular intermediate/advanced players and 4 beginners. And my playing has improved so much We have a playlist that we work through everynight to warm up and then we work on a couple of new ones We have a couple that play the rhythm in different ways and one take the lead. I like the idea of using a capo...we havent done that yet.

Unfortunately, it seems to be available only in hard copy and the cost of shipping to the US is almost as much as the cost of the book and there's VAT on top of that. You mention in the video that it's available as an ebook, but I did not find any ebook purchase or borrow options. Can you provide more information about about. In the meantime, I have the Belson book you also mention

I actually like scales a little bit, because the progression sounds really nice, while helping me immensely.

For Am to Em, you can actually just leave your finger 1 ( index finger) at the same place, which is much faster, without affecting the chord... can I do that? Or is it better if I lift my index finger off playing Em?

Today was my first time picking up my new guitar and following these lessons after just one hour of practicing I did 62 cord changes in one minute. But I must say I’m learning guitar because I want to worship Jesus and I prayed for a supernatural boost of help in learning to play. I prayed holy spiritual help me learn guitar all for his glory. I’m 40 years old and looking forward to strumming my guitar in worship.❤

How do I get my electric guitar/amp to give this kind of sound

I use the "short cut" Variation of F (F maj7) especially when a Song is in the Key of C. This means there are tons of C to F transitions & each are only a little skip away from one another not to mention same Hand Position. With a fast TEmpo and when only playing Chords (vs Fingerpicking), there is little difference in the sound.

The first thing i want acquire in learning guitar, is to change that goddamn chord fast af, neither fingerstyle or strumming matter, just switch chord fast and smooth like sungha jung or tim henson

19 changes in 1 minute after 3 days of not so consistent practice still proud of it tho. Update it’s now day 4 and I got to 29 changes in a minute after 2 attempts.
